🌟 Together, We Are Nourishing Our Communities 🌟We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our 12-Month Food Exchange Project, an initiative designed to support ethnic minorities and vulnerable individuals in Newport by redistributing surplus food and essential supplies while fostering stronger community connections.Our Vision At the heart of this project lies a simple yet powerful idea: local businesses, shops, and communities working hand in hand to support each other and those in need. With the unwavering support of residents, businesses, and organisations, we are proud to share that a total of 668 coats were collected and redistributed to those in need, spreading warmth and kindness across the city.The campaign, led by Gem Walker, Newport Support Network Service Manager and Volunteer Coordinator at Community Connect Newport, was hosted at the Community Hub located at 92 Commercial Street, NP20 1LS. Starting in early November, the initiative called on locals to donate gently used coats and outerwear for adults and children alike.
