Their perspectives play a crucial role in shaping our approach to community engagement and service delivery, ensuring that we truly meet the needs of those we serve.Celebrating Our Partnership with Age Alive We are thrilled to officially partner with Age Alive, a Newport-based charity dedicated to empowering individuals over 50, particularly those from Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities. 🌟 Together, We Are Nourishing Our Communities 🌟We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our 12-Month Food Exchange Project, an initiative designed to support ethnic minorities and vulnerable individuals in Newport by redistributing surplus food and essential supplies while fostering stronger community connections.Our Vision At the heart of this project lies a simple yet powerful idea: local businesses, shops, and communities working hand in hand to support each other and those in need. Shops, businesses, and community members contribute surplus food, which we then redistribute to individuals and families in need. This initiative ensures culturally appropriate food and essential supplies are available to the diverse communities of Newport.While our services remain free for those who are vulnerable or unable to pay, we kindly ask those who can afford it to contribute £5.00 when using the service.
