Simple ways to donate

Complete our Donation Offer Form first. We will confirm whether we can accept or collect your items.

Baby and children’s clothing

Clean, freshly washed and in good condition, with no stains, rips or heavy wear.

Prams and pushchairs

Complete and clean, with working brakes and harness, no rust or damage, and no outstanding product recall.

Items we cannot accept

Used car seats, mattresses, bedding, cot bumpers, opened toiletries, damaged items or recalled products.

Cots and Moses baskets

Frames only: complete, undamaged, with all fixings and instructions, and meeting current safety standards. We do not accept mattresses or bedding.

Toys and books

Clean, complete and age-appropriate, with required CE or UKCA marking, secure battery compartments and no damage or missing parts.

Feeding and electrical items

Bottles and teats must be new and sealed. Sterilisers and other electrical items are accepted only if complete, clean, working and suitable for safety testing.

Use the Donation Offer Form before bringing items. Referrals for family support should be made through the Feed Newport Support Form.

Complete the Donation Offer Form first and wait for our team to confirm what we can accept. Thursday collections are subject to availability. We will confirm the collection or drop-off time and location before you travel. Please do not leave items without agreement.

A dedicated reuse space for Newport

Baby Basics Newport Community Reuse Hub is at Ebenezer Terrace, Newport, separate from Feed Newport’s Community Support Hub at 92 Commercial Street. Use the Donation Offer Form and wait for our team to confirm arrangements before visiting.
